What technical skills might you need to practice and develop to make improvements in your work? I would like to practice illustration more. Before this session, I found it difficult to make a collage, but the tutor helped me to expand my visions, which made this session exciting for me. However, making illustrations based on collages is still difficult for me. Also, it is because of a lack of knowledge of materials and colours. Therefore I would like to learn more about different materials.

Did you feel more comfortable working by hand or digitally?

I felt more comfortable working by hand. Working by hand is able to focus on details and colours. Also, working by hand helps me to have new perspectives and make new ideas.

Why is working by  hand still so important in 2022?

I think that working by hand enables us to express individuality more, which is most important when creating art and creative things. Although I reckon that using digital is more useful and curtain, working by hand makes it possible to distinguish who made the work more easily.
